Planning a Magic Birthday Party
Page 2

So you want to have a magic birthday party? Here are some ideas for making that magic birthday party magical:

  • Consider having a real magician perform a professional magic show for your birthday child and party guests.  When booking a magician, call as early as possible in order to make sure you can book the magician on the day you want.
  • Use a magic theme for your party.  There are several companies that provide magic theme party supplies, including plates, napkins and party favors. One on-line store for birthday supplies is www.birthdayexpress.com
  • If you are having a magic show, schedule it with the magician to begin about 30 minutes after the start of the party.  This allows late comers to not miss the show.  Have a game or project that kids can do when they arrive.
  • After the show, you can have more games or go right to the birthday cake and presents.  The party should be between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours in length.
