During The Party

For a typical two hour birthday party, the birthday party schedule could look something like this:

Time

Activity

Start of Party Greet guests, play party idea #1
0:30 - 1:15 Magician performs at party (about 45 minutes)
1:15 - 1:30 Sing "Happy Birthday" and eat cake
1:30 - 2:00 Open presents or play party idea #2

Many mothers tell me how they were pleasantly surprised they could relax at their child's party during the magic show.  Since the kids are focused on the show, the parents can sit down and enjoy the show too.

After the Party

OK, the house probably does not look the same as it did before the party, so cleaning is probably on the top of the list. Writing thank-yous to the guests should be at the top of the list too. It also can't hurt to write a nice thank you letter to the magician if you think he did a wonderful job at the party.

If you live in the Baltimore, Washington, D.C. or Annapolis area, consider having Dan The Magic Man at your event for a fun, age appropriate magic show where the kids will have a great time.
